Hi everyone
Spring is here and it,s good to be working back outside again.
This is one of my extreme birdhouses that i started last year but do to winter it got put on the shelf for a while.
It has over 80 apartments and is made from 120 yr old barn wood.
It is 5 1/2 ft square.

Did you throw the birds out for "drinking" in the house (pic #2)?
Nice houses.

Those are really something, I would hate to put them out for a bird to make a home in.
Now if you charged a high rent so you could get a good class of birds maybe.... :D

Birdhouses?
More like Avian Apartments.
Upscale, Apartemente de'Audubon? No?
Mebbe airborne condos?
Anyway, that is some darn fine stuff.
Impressive to say the least.

Awesome! Do they stay on the ground or do you lift them? They look heavy!

I use a farm tractor to put them 8 - 9 ft in the air on a single post.

Watch out John, soon you will become as renown as John Andrew Pearson, (the well known 20th Century Canadian architect).

John that work of yours is enough to get me thinking about building a replica of the 250 Year old house I'm living in just for the birds.

Hi Cliff
I have had a few customers already that wanted a replica of their home or cottage.
The older the home the better, i think they have more detail.
Thanks
john
