Spalted Maple Bowl

And another... this is the lovely Karen's favorite piece. Spalted Silver Maple. 13x6". DNA, a few coats of Poly and buffed.

I have a stump in my backyard, about 4 feet in diameter by 5 feet tall. Its nasty stuff to work with...

Nice job I have some spalted maple also but it hasen't gotten spungy yet so I don't get the smell but sure turns out some nice bowls. Great job .
