I recently bought the Harbor Freight 14 inch bandsaw on a sweet deal. Before I bought it I contacted them and was assured that the riser block kit they sell for it was available. Now after it being twice backordered I am worried it will never come in. So here is my question...has anyone else been successful in using a riser block kit from another manufacturer and making it work with the HF Bandsaw? I am ready to give up but this saw is usless to me without the the riser block (lots of resawing for lather stuff). Thanks in advance!
