Unique sanding pads

A good friend of mine, Don Jones a member of our club sent me these
custom sanding disk holders as a gift! Don is an acomplished carver &
turner among other things...We have been working on finishing &
sharpenning the last few months & making our own pads was part of it.
Don made these from Cobbler's scraps! Didn't know any of those guys
still existed today but apparently there is still an old timey shoe repair
guy still doing his thing in Victoria Texas. Anyway I thought I would share
these with you folks. The bottoms are turned from Texas Mesquite.

Wow Mike those are cool. I really like them. I had been thinking about making mine own but just never got around to it. Very nice.
