I'm trying to figure out if I can get a Byrd head in my MM CU300 but can't seem to locate the Tersa website. I figured I would see if they even make different 12" heads or if all 12" MM machines would use the same head.

Lots of manufacturers don't deal direct. Go through wwwwoodtechtooling.com Good professional company to deal with.

Hi , If you want to put a Byrd Shellix head in your MM you should contact Byrd Tool directly to see if they have a match 800-441-2973. You're probably looking at about $1300. They do sell directly. Tersa is the insert cutterhead system found in a lot of jointers and planers brought in from Europe. That's probably what you have on your MM now.
take care,
John

Thanks guys, I wasn't very clear.

My machine has a Tersa now. I am a Byrd dealer and have the full machine list but the CU300 is not on it.

I did PM Sam and he was kind enough to respond that the 12" head in the CU300 is the same as the FS30 which is on the Byrd list.
