Seems like I saw these once upon a time at Lee Valley. I'm talking mini ball-bearing drawer slides. Something full-extension and smooth like 100# class, but sized for smallish drawers, so as to not look so huge and bulky. Drawer size I'm thinking to use these on is 2" high, 14" wide x 10" deep. 100# full-xt would look stoopid!

If you can't find the mini ball-bearing drawers slides...

How about "regular-sized" drawers slides attached to the bottom of the drawer? I have a few drawers in the kitchen that way, and am building a dresser with 4 drawers like that. It looks really clean.

The load rating will not be 100 lb (it's more like 35 lb). But who would put 100 lb in those small drawers?

The drawback is that you'll lose 1/2" height for the slides, and may need to use 3/8" or 1/2" thick drawer bottom.

Is maybe http://www.leevalley.com/hardware/page.aspx?c=2&p=40591&cat=3,43614,43616&ap=2 what you're remembering? Ball-bearing, and small, just not full extension.

If you find some full extension mini-slides (.75 to .5 high) that don't cost a fortune, let me know. I can't even find full extension mini friction slides. I called Rockler and they said that their mini-slides were not full extension.

Jameel,
I hope they work for you. I saw them in a Rockler catalog the other day. Let us know how they work if you use them.
