Not quite tall enough for a Bud vase and not quite short enough for a pot. I found this log and I have no idea what kind wood it is.

If you turn them really, really thin, they can be called Bud Lite Pots...Ken will like them that way! :D :rolleyes:

That looks on the order of those potpourri pots I just turned.
Is that the natural color of the wood? If you applied the color, and if the natural color was a sort of whitish/gray, I'd say there was a good chance of it being magnolia.

The pot is Au natural. I only added some BLO and shellac. Turns very easily.
