Here are a couple more pens. First is with walnut and a 308 casing the second is antler with red heart and an acrylic band. And the third is a modified slimline made with Osage orange cut from our hedge row and an acrylic band.

Michael,
How do you et past the smell of that antler. I tried working on some a week ago and the smell almost made me puke. It was too much for me. Is there a way to defeat the smell to make it easier to work on. Even ventallated it was too much.

If it is old antler that has been laying around awhile it doesn't smell hardly at all. The last one I did the only time I could smell it was when it took me a while to drill. Plus a fan behind me helps.
