I stared out doing 12, but I ended up with 25.......

I guess I turned in to a pen turning zombie

There are a bunch of different woods there, some from Bernie Weishapi, some from Barry Stratton, some from Steve Ash, some from Bernie Weishapi via Barry Stratton...... :D

Let me see, Red Keyaki, Ginko, Sakura, American Ash, American Cherry, Teak, Curly Maple, Birds Eye Maple, Wavy Maple (?), Maple, Elm, Osage Orange, Red Heart, Bubinga, Bocote, Bethlehem Olive.....

Man I'm happy I've run out of kits

Cheers!

Great looking pens Stu!

On my latest pen, I used your info about CA and sanding from the other post and was very happy with the finish. I don't know if I can catch up to you in the production numbers though!

Thanks Jonathon.

I did a write up on my finishing procedure here (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=56111&page=2) on post #16.

Yep, that is the plan, work on one kit until I know I can do it right.

I see little point bouncing around between kits and styles without mastering one.

I have some slim ball point pen kits, some pencils and some cigar pens, dunno which I'll try next.

Cheers!

Stu,
Good to hear from you! I suspect that they will sell really well in your spirits shop. Now you just need to decide how to display them for sale.

Good luck,
Dick
