Can anyone give me the equation for finding out what I set my CMS for cutting crown moulding? I had to do my first crown moulding at 22.5 degrees and spent the better half of this afternoon winging it. WHew, this was very difficult for me having never done it before! I assume that a 45 degree is relatively simple. My saw came with instructions but it didn't seem to help with the crown moulding ( I think it was for regular flat stock). I mean...what do I do for a 30 degree, 50 degeree, etc. Isn't there some kind of equation for crown moulding?

This was exactly what the doctor ordered! And after wrestling with an 8 foot piece of moulding all day, it is the right medicine to finish it up tomorrow. (The 8 feet were whittled down to about 5 after I finshed up getting close to what I needed )
