Hello Creekers,

I'm trying to buy a 1/4 blade for my Lt 16hd, but I'm not sure what length blade I need. The manual say 145" but they sent me a resaw king that was tagged at 150" which works fine. Can I buy any size blade between 145" and 150"?

To find the blade length, multiply the wheel diameter times 3.14 and add to that twice the distance between the wheel centers. Since the upper wheel moves up and down you should take a measurement at the two extremes of position.

If you contact Ittura Designs, they will know what is the 'standard' length for your specific model saw. They sell Lenox blades.

Remember that tension on the bandsaw blade is set by cranking the bandsaw wheel up and down, so there is some leeway in bandsaw blade lengths. This probably explains the 145-150" difference.
