I'm trying to weld some text and put it on a curve for a friend who's about to have a baby. I use Corel X3, and so far, it seems to be an either/or affair. I can either put the text on a curve, or weld it, but not both. I'm fairly certain that if i just overlap it, the laser will just cut chunks out of the overlap points, so I was hoping to find a simple way to pull this off. Any suggestions? Unfilling, outlining, and segment deleting just looks tedious...

After you put the text on the curve; arrange, break apart.

Move your text to overlap with the shape tool if that';s wahat you want.

Select arrange, shaping, weld.

Thanks Mike, that nailed it!
