I would like to know any "secerets or tricks" to put edge trin on tops? I like to use an OAK trim for counter tops with plactic laminates. I have seen some edges put on that is perfect including mitered corners but have been unable to talk to the person who did this. I just can't seem to get the miter both inside and outside type

The "secret" to mitred corners is to use a mitre trimmer - SCMS are far too coarse and inaccurate. The trick to trimming lippings to fit pre-laminated tops is to use a laminate trimmer with a zero degree horizontal base plate such as the Holz-Her 2360 (now re-incarnated as the Festool 700 I believe)
