I have a 3-phase 1950's Unisaw in storage, awaiting my shop being built (maybe around 2030 at this rate  ) and I could use a portable table saw in the meantime. A guy here in town has a used Delta XL-10 for $125.

I assume this was their bottom-of-the-line saw at the time, but I'm doing relatively rough work. Is this a decent saw for that type of work, or should I just go to the borg or similar and pick up something new?

Since this is a "temporary" purchase I was hoping to keep the cost right around the asking price of the above saw.

My other thought was to buy a benchtop saw and mount it on one of the "SUV" carts like I have my CMS on, this would certainly be very handy in my circumstances. Don't know how viable that really would be.

I have a guided saw system but frankly it hasn't proven to be as handy nor as accurate as I had hoped, so the table saw would be an alternative to that.
