I'm finally installing a Beis splitter on my Jet rt tilt cabinet saw. I've run into a small problem. The back of the splitter is hitting the back of the insert cutout of the table top just enough that I cant get perfect alignment with the blade. I've thought of filing a bit off the back of the splitter rather than the major job of realigning the table. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

Jim, Since no one else has chimed in I'll give you my .02. I think you are right about taking some off the back of the splitter. That is better than taking anything off the saw. Also check clearance at full tilt. Hope this helps. Are you sure it was the right model for your saw? I just put one on my 1023sl and I had to do some filing on the holes in the bies mounting block to get it to line up. No big deal tho.

Thanks Dick. That's just what I did and it now works like a charm.
