While in Home Depot today figuring out what to spend my Christmas cash on I found that the Porter Cable 557 Plate Joiner had a $30 rebate on it(Home Depot shopping card). Since that is about the only thing left in Home Depot's tool department that I had any interest in I thought I had found my prize. Of course they didn't have any left except the display model which had been screwed to a board to show how it worked :mad: . I checked the other nearby Home Depot but it too had been plundered of all PC557's except for the poor display model.
Anyone in the market for a plate joiner (excpet in Central Florida) might want to check this out. Folks in Central Florida please wait until I find one to buy :D
