Between these 2 saws Jet JWBS 14" used 1999 model, and a Delta 28-276 which do you think is the better one ?

The Jet has a 1 1/4HP motor vs a 3/4HP on the Delta.
The Jet also looks like it's more solid than the Delta - looks can be deceiving though. According to the specs, the Delta weighs 201 pounds vs 120 lbs shipping weight for the Jet.

Based on my limited experience with my 9" Delta, I'd lean towards the Delta at 201 lbs. - nearly twice the bulk of the Jet.

I found out right quick that any sort of movement of the bandsaw itself destroys any hope you have of making anything that resembles a straight cut.
I've shelved my 9" for the time being until I can make a proper base for it to sit on.
