How are the quality of these bits compared to the italian and US bits?

I have about 2 dozen WC bits, many purchased at $5 sales. They hold up well if you keep them clean. They are not as durable as the Whiteside and CMT bits I have, but exceed the grizzly bits I have tried. They are an especially good deal for profiles you don't use as often. At 5 bucks you can't afford to sharpen them, I have a few extras still in the package.

As Jeff says. I have some that have done more than their share of work. Just not sure whether to sharpen or just replace at $5.

Great deal, but my router is only a 1/4" shank. Maybe I will get a few large side jobs and have the funds to upgrade.

Al, Holbren Tools had a set, and may still have a set on sale of 1/4" router bits for $20 dollars that was 24 bits, or eighty three cents each? Oh, and the $20 price was shipped.

I just purchased a Bosch Colt which is 1/4 inch only needed some bits, this deal worked for me much better than the woodcraft sale.

If I wear out a certain bit, I'll just replace that bit with a Whiteside quality bit.

You could check www.holbren.com (http://www.holbren.com) and see if the sale is still on.
