ive been looking for a club in the clarksville tn area for awhile now but keep hitting dead ends. anyone know of one within reasonable distance that deals in traditional methods? and while im at it, ive had no luck findind a decent stanley no 7 at antique stores and i wont get started on ebay. anyone know of some good flea markets around the area or have a spare tool they are willing to part with at a decent price?

Eric,
Try these guys for your #7:

Both have great customer service and accurate descriptions of their wares. I've bought tools form both several times and have never been disappointed.
(No affiliation, just a satisfied, repeat customer of both.)

I've been to Clarksville several times and know for a fact that the antique tool pickin's SUCK! Although the bul gogi is nice lol. The only place I've found that even has some tools is Yesterday Antiques. Not the one on Franklin Street(that one has some but they are higher priced) but the one outside of Clarksville. You should also try up in Paducah and Mayfield. If you need any extra help just drop me a line at woodworker714@hotmail.com

I have alot of spare tools. I am always willing to sell them. No ebay suprises. If I dont have what you need I can probably get it. Also Walt at http://www.brasscityrecords.com usually has good tools at good prices. Cheers, Clint Jones
