Ok
I just bought a Sharp EL-738 financial calculator and was wondering if someone could shed some light on bond prices. There are 2 ways to determine a bond price and each method gives a different amount.

Could the difference be in the calendar basis used in each one? Municipal, state, and corporate bonds issued in the USA are typically 30/360. US Treasuries are actual/actual, meaning days per month or days per year. These differences in amortization will result in variations of output. Some bonds can also be semi-annual or annual.

Maybe you can find a more comprehensive owner's manual to your calculator online.
