I just received my Domino by UPS and opened up the Owners Manual and was not very impressed with its step by step instructions. In fact, I think they are some of the poorest I have seen. Does anyone know where there is a site that can take me through the various operations and how to properly set up the tool for any given application? Thanks!

There are some online assists. Here's a couple and I'm sure others will add to this list:

http://nhwoodworker.com/domino/index.html
http://www.woodshopdemos.com/ (scroll down the page and look for the Domino links)

Gary,

The best resource is the new manual which is in a pre-release state. It is discussed in this thread here on Sawmill Creek.

Does anybody have an update on Jerry Work"s Manual? I haven't read any of Jerry's manuals but they get great reviews.

Gary,

I got 2 CD (not DVD) disks when I recently bought a TS 55. The disk is called test drive. Ask the dealer that you bought your domino from if they could give you one. Shows you how to use the domino for many different joints. There is also a link to Rick Christopherson Domino Extended User's Manual that he is writing for Festool. http://festool.home.att.net/ I hope I can post this link here. Looks like a neat little machine. I also found some good short videos on mcfeeleys web site.

Actually Peter, I prefer that you don't post that link directly to the PDF file because it bypasses the terms and conditions page of the web site. (I already posted the proper link above.) Please understand that this draft copy of the manual is listing Festool as the legal owner of the information, even though they have not signed off on that information yet. That's the reason why I created the terms and conditions page.

Edit----Never Mind! I see you edited your posting before I even finished typing mine. Thanks.

Rick, Sorry I missed your note above. Great job on your manuals. Some times I type faster than I think and have to go back and make changes.
