Recently the wife and I were in a gift shop and saw some small, maybe 1 1/2 to 2 foot long, boat paddles that had been laser engraved. Got us to thinking about some things we could do with them however we have no idea where to get such things. Does anyone know of a supplier?

They have small blank wood paddles that size at our AC Moore's craft store here in western NY.... I always get 40% off coupons too so I bet the cost would not be too bad either.

I hope this helps I never get to helps out around here I only get to take all the great adice and help around here. :)

Karin, do you happen to know who the manufacturer is? Does AC Moore have a website that you know of?

Steve,

Went through the same thing this weekend. Picked up a few items at A.C. Moore, and saw the boat paddle Karin mentions. I couldn't find any manufacturers label on any item, on sticker that says "Made in China".

Website is www.acmoore.com (http://www.acmoore.com).

Hope this helps.

Here's their web site:

They are a large craft store chain in the eastern states. I don't think they're in the midwest or west.

(EDIT: oops, Belinda beat me to it)
