Last spring a swarm of bees set up a hive in some empty supers I had ~10 feet from the door to my shop. I've been waiting all year for a chance to move them. I went out to shop at 9am this morning and they are out FLYING AROUND! It's Dec 24th in Connecticut and the bee's are still out! They are an effective deterrent for most people, although there were a few days in August that they made it exhilirating for me to get into the shop.Oh well, hopefully it will be cold enough in Jan/Feb to move them or else I'll still have my shop "Shop Security System" in place next year.
