Anyone have experience and advice on polycarbonate and lucite? I picked up a few scrap pieces today from a glass shop. Is it laserable? Vector/Raster? I've been told the polycarbonate is very tough stuff. Stronger than typical acrylics. All responses appreciated.

You should have great success with Lucite which I believe is the DuPont name for acrylic. It will engrave and cut well.

Polycarbonate also known as Lexan, a GE product, engraves well but I have had no success in cutting it as the edge burns. Some have had better luck with it but I refuse to vector cut it. There is some concern over outgassing being hazardous.

There was a recent thread on this.
