I just noticed yesterday that the faceplate on my lathe (jet 1442) has a slight bend to it and needs to be replaced. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions? I'm thinking about the 4'' oneway.

Thanks

The 3" and 4" OneWay face blades are outstanding in quality. I have a 3" unit and compliment that with a few aluminum ones from Don Pencil.

I have 3 or 4 from Don Pencil and have been happy with them. The aluminum FP are plenty strong for most turning.

The aluminum are okay. The steel/iron ones are better. The screw holes are also a little larger. Get some real iron from Osolnik or Oneway.

Thanks guys, I guess the 4'' would be big enough? 12'' is the biggest thing I will turn. I like To start big so when I mess it up I can just make something smaller.:)
