Hi folks,
How do I tweak the edges of those new anti-kickback router bits. The old ones are easy to touch up with a diamond flatstone. The new ones, with the anti-kickback feature don't allow the use of a typical flatstone. Is this REALLY progress or another marketing ploy to get us to buy more bits.

Sorry for the dumb question.

Dale,

I use a diamond sharpener that is shaped more like a file. Woodcraft calls them Diamond Honing Sticks.
I use the super fine and hone only on the flats of the bit. Hope this makes sense.

Oh Sorry Dale,

DMT has small flat sharpeners that fit.

Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Thanks guys,
I guess that I was just too lazy to REALLY look. A sharp bit beats a dull one every time!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
