Any source suggestions for replacement chip collection bags for a Delta 50-760 DC? Delta Service Centers want $14.40 for one, which seems a bit steep to me.

I have been looking for the bags, without success (not counting Delta). I have used the bags from Wynn Environmental and Amazon's"JDS Company 16004 Dust-Force Plastic Bags - 5 Pack
" With both of these bags you have to fold over the top as they are to big. They do work though.

Check out Penn State. Their poly bags are very sturdy - 5 mil? - and aren't too pricey.

Shopsmith makes good bags that are fairly cheap.

I have been using contractor garbage bags (3mil, 42 gallon) that I bought from Home Depot as the chip bags for my Delta dust collector. I have been extremely happy with the results. I believe they were about $15 for a box of 32 bags.

I use either heavy duty or extra heavy duty 30 gallon trash bags. I have the Skirt that goes from the bag rim to a trash can from Wood workers Supply. But I use a trash bag then over the bag the skirt from the rim down to the trash can. This protects the bag. If I just use the skirt it comes down over the outside the garbage can & the chips collect between the inside of the skirt & the outside of the can & when I unfasten the skirt all these chips fall to the floor & on the lower part of the machine. Yes all this takes a little more time to set up but it works good.
