WOW, The mustard is on sale-- Craft Supplys $2,595. Just got the email today! Wish I could plunge now-- But my 60 year old (modified) Atlas is still spinning.:) Guess I will wait a while - maybe they will come down to $1,000-- LOL.

Is that a good price? I recall seeing similar prices from various vendors prior. I'd love to dump the income tax return on one of those but that's not likely to be.

Hey... you can't fight it forever though... the black hole of turning is going to win sometime so you might as well give up and buy it! I ain't got a mustard, but everyone else seems to like 'em (ok, except Andy and his followers ;)).

Try Osolnik. Joe might be able to match that price. He usually gives free shipping too. (no, I don't work there, just have done business with him before)

Yep, I know someone who just got a sweet deal from Joe O. It's worth looking into before you jump.

Jerry,

You may want to call General Industrail Supply in Nashville, TN and ask them about their "scratch-n-dent" 3520's. I bought a 3520A from them for $1825 plus $125 shipping to the local terminal. I'd be real surprised if GIS couldn't beat that price by a fair bit for ya. Just an idea.

You may have problems finding as many "scratch & dent" 3520Bs as you did the A model. The packaging is quite different and you're less likely to damage the shipment than before.

On price checking, I'd definitely check with Olosnik Machinery & Supplies. I haven't bought a lathe from them, but they are great to deal with for "appendages" to the mustard.

In addition to the sales price of $2,595.00, Craft Supplies is also offering free shipping. The email ad says, "Free shipping available, call for details!"

Can you get a better deal somewhere? Maybe. Craft Supplies are good people to deal with.

You should also check with the ToolNut. They ended up being the best price for me.
