Caught in the Cookie Jar

Found some scraps in the shop that were starting to crack that I thought I should get on Toot Sweet!

This is cherry and walnut that is 5 by 6 inches.

The grip marks on the lid and the jaws on the Stronghold chuck are purely coincidental.:rolleyes:

Pete, try rotating the lid in your chuck and applying pressure as you work your way around. The resulting grooves are a nice decorative touch that you made on the lathe, and BTW they are perfectly spaced of course!:D :D :D

Darn Pete, I read the post title and hurried in cause I thought LOYL had caught you with your hand in the jar taking some extra cash to feed the Vortex.:D Instead you show those delicious cookies, and the grandkids just drank the last of the milk!!:mad: How can a guy relax in his sick bed with all that going wrong?:confused: Nice looking Jar, but be careful of following Pruitt's advice.
