I've been using Rocklers aluminum bar clamps lately and really like em(there light) but the glue is a pain to get off the bar. Is there some magic solution that wipes on and off goes the glue?

Mark, I use a stiff metal welders brush. To ease the operation, wax your clamps regularly with a paste wax.

I never thought about waxing them. Preventative maintenance. What a great idea!

Masking tape over the high risk areas works well too.

I usually apply masking tape to the bars (and pipes) of various clamps prior to the actual glue-up. I started this to keep the pipes of my pipe clamps from staining my wood.

Depending upon the size of the panel, I also sometimes put brown kraft paper, or wax paper between the wood and the bars/pipes of the clamps - clean up is easy - you just throw away the paper after unclamping the assembly.

I use time.
In time it just falls off.
