Yes... more Walnut... just a plain bowl this time... 16-1/2" wide and 5-1/2" tall.

Oh, thats nice. I havn't turned walnut yet. Nice contrast between sapwood and heartwood. Good job on the form.

Sure did... not a better way I know of to get a chunk of green wood quickly dried and into a finished shape...

Mark, that is a real salad bowl. I like the way the wood color is balanced. You did a perfect job with the curves on this one.
