I was just wondering if any body could tell me how to find out the specification to a gast pump # Model LAA-V113-NQ(cfm , piston ,rotary , and so on) looking to use for a vacuum bag system and just wanted to make sure if it is going to be good enough.

Richard,
I went had to wade through a few pieces of info to find a model similar to mine. Here are two PDFs that have info on models similar to yours:
http://www.gastmfg.com/pdf/General%20catalog/FullLineCatalog_0605.pdf
http://www.gastmfg.com/pdf/OM/saa_soa_RP_OM.pdf
The main site is here:

Looks like the specs should be OK.

I did not look it up, but based on my memory, that is a piston style pump. I was looking at vacuum pumps a few months back, and found the above link very hepful. I believe that Reichle Thomas has a similar site for their current pumps. I ended up finding a Reichle Thomas that pulls 2.4 cfm and reaches 28 in Hg for $60 shipped on fleabay. It's used, but it worked well after putting on a new cord.
