What am I missing ??

Looking at Sliding Compound Miter Saws I see the Makita LS1013 on HD's web site priced at $399.20 and on Lowes' web site at $522.73. Am I missing something ?? Are there 2 different versions of this saw ??.

I am considering giving my RAS to SIL and purchasing a SCMS.

Geez, Ken, if those were the prices, and what Jim said is right, you could have REALLY stuck it to Lowe's....Let's see, $400 less 20% = $320, Lowe's would have to beat that by 10% = $288....sounds like a steal to me!! Unless the $400 was already 20% off, then it would be $360, still a great deal.
