Another Sofa Table. I made this for the Breeder we got a coupe of our Newfs from. She's in the process of building a new house, and I thought this would make a nice housewarming gift. Whatcha think?

Pretty nice but I think I would have opted for a Rottweiler instead. Just tell her it is a Newf with a buzz cut.

Beautiful!! As a breeder (of basset hounds) I can tell you that she will love it. That is a wonderful gift.

Every year, we take a long weekend and drive to Iowa to meet about 40 or so other Newfy owners from all over the country. Part of the weekend is an auction of donated items, with the proceeds going to Newfoundland Dog Rescue. I posted pictures of the table on the Newfie forum, and ask if they would like me to donate a table like that. They are ALREADY bidding on it, and the Get Together is not until July! :eek:
So, I told them that I would make another one for the winner of this "auction", and then make one to donate at the Get Together. Talk about being stuck in table mode. :rolleyes:
