SMC Shutdown Tonight

Sunday March 25th during the evening we may have a total shutdown of our server. While it is not a sure thing it is possible we may be able to bring our new server online and will need to shutdown the old server to transfer files and of course the IP address must be transfered to the new server.

We have a couple of hardware issues to resolve with the new server first, if it is not to late when we get ther new server ready to go we will make the transfer. Sorry we can't provide a hard schedule, we will do the best we can.

Folks, there is still some preliminary work going on before the switch can happen. Sometimes that work may cause a short-term slow-down when files are being copies, etc. Thanks in advance for your patience.

FYI, the thread in the Support Forum by the same name is the "primary" announcement channel for this matter, but I'm trying to maintain some of the news here due to the volume of participation in this particular forum.
