I thought you might like to read about a fellow turner, William Macy.

There was an article about him turning some norwood pine a few years back. IIRC it was in Wood magazine.

Correct, Ron...Phil Brennion spent some time in Bill Macy's shop for some instruction and turning. WOOD Magazine documented it for an article.
Oh, and while Phil is a "big Mayo" guy...Bill is in the Mustard crowd... :D

Thanks for sharing, Glenn. I thought I had heard before that he was a Turner.
I think we need him to join us here at the SMC turners forum.

If I remember the article, he has 2 shops in 2 different locations. Each with a PM3520.....sorry don't remember if they were A or B versions.

Who can ever forget Macy's role in "Fargo" -- the crooked son-in-law and car salesman who set the whole mess in motion. He's a great actor.

He's also a great charactor actor, and has had numerous smaller parts in many, many movies. Stage trained, IIRC.
I saw him several years ago on Jay Leno, and he presented him a bowl as well. That was the first time I had heard he was a turner.
