LOML taped St. Roy for me and he made a Chess set on the lathe and showed him preping the blocks and guling them up to be sawn into about 3/8 thick strips to make the board.

He also made some molding with 3 different planes to go around the board.

The pawns were little routa's The spoof on Norm was funny the way he said it. The power tool side's Queen (?) was a shop vac. The hose was made by cutting apart rings he turned on the lathe.

Does anyone have information on the SWEET little infill block plane he was using?

Very enjoyable show.

Where can I find pictures of this chess set? I'm curious, but I can't quite picture it.

What's the name of the show & what channel is it on?
