All I had before I made this was an old rigged up band saw fence with a piece of oak bolted to it, it worked pretty good but way too much dust.

This is more solid and easier to adjust, it clamps down with the two blue knobs into holes drilled and tapped into the bottom of the 2nd. miter slot on my extra table saw table,the dust collector gets about 85% of the waste.

Made a guard and painted everything today, will have more pictuers when the paint dries.


This track on each end keeps it parallel with the table.

Looks good, Jeff. How did you attach the PVC to the wood?

Keith it's hard to see in the pictuer, but under the PVC is an angle iorn set with the point up which makes a 45 degree angle then I welded a 2 1\2" long piece to make the angle longer to support the PVC and 2 holes and 1\8" bolts holds it tight. One side does have a little gap that I'll seal with silicone.
