Planning to take a trip in April to Sand Diego CA, are there any no miss sites to see, woodworking related to non? Sea World and the zoo are at the top of the list. Were staying in the Mission Bay area.

Just got back last Monday from visiting friends.

Zoo was great. Use the bus services to get the lay of the land. Pandas were active around 11-12.

SeaWorld, didn't go, can't help.

I thought OldTown was cool. Good food and shopping.

Down in Mexico, Ensenada was great. All day trip though. Amazing food.

Day trip into the desert, picnic in an area where there is no sign of human life as far as you can see. :) That was awesome.

There's the USS Midway tour and the Star of India.

There's the USS Midway tour and the Star of India.


Last March ('06) I spent 3hrs on the USS Midway and I could have spent longer. There is a lot to see there. Very interesting and well done. Well worth it!
