Box Elder 6 1/2 X 3 1/2. This piece is bleached as I read in a post that the bleaching of Box Elder does not affect the red stain. This piece had a little red at the bottom and the bleach did not affect it. A lot of bug holes on one side and a little spaulting. Comments and critiques welcome.

Beautiful!!

(BTW, the red will fade in time on it's own, but it's nice to know that the bleach didn't remove it)

Hey, your really on a roll here!!!! This one has to be my favorite. Almost looks like ivory or bone or something. This is a really cool turning!

I like it. It looks like it was made from sea coral. Great vision on this piece

The bleaching agent is Klean Strip two part wood bleach. Thanks for the kind comments.

It looks like a giant piece of bone with serious osteoporosis.... I like it!
