Opinions - PM model 45 lathe

Just curious - does anyone have any experience/opinions on Powermatic model 45 lathe, 12x38, 3/4 hp 230 SP, variable speed, late 60's/early 70's vintage. Reasonably complete, but no extras - owner wants in the $500-$600 range. Thanks in advance.

There's no way I would buy it unless I just really wanted it for collectible sake. You can get a much better lathe for a few bills more. But sometimes old machines are cool too.
