adding labels into photos

can anybody tell me how to put a label on an object IN a picture, i.e. a photo of mountains, I want to label a peak with its name. I have picasa,and kodak easyshare on my "puter

I simply do it with the "Paint" program that is on my computer. You simply paste it into the program and use one or two of the available tools on the workbar.

I do my photo prep in Adobe Photoshop Elements including any annotation.

quick-n-dirty...

insert the photo into an excel document and use a text box to create the label. excel has 'arrows' that you can draw to connect the text box to the portion of the image you want to indicate.
