I coach a great bunch of kids in the Destination Imagination (http://www.idodi.org/) program. My team builds some amazing things and since they work in my shop they tend to build out of wood as they raid my scrap and stock. This year they really needed a jig saw to make some big scenery pieces including a fantastic 7' tree mounted on a ladder that they could climb in/over/around during their skit. (Two years ago, I decided "they" needed a band saw :) the year before that it was a drill press :p )
Anyway, I picked up a Skill brand saw which wasn't much of a tool, but I could not justify putting a $150 saw in the hands of six 12 year olds. On Friday I returned it and in the market for a real tool (the DI season is over). I know everyone says Bosch, but which model.
Input greatly appriciated.
