I just bought a 1 year old Jet DC-1200 from a cabinet shop for $50.00, But I need to replace the bags. Where can I order the 1 micron filter bags from, and get the best price ?
Thanks

While I'm not answering your exact question ... I think you can do better than bags ...

Check out Wynn Enviornmental and look at the canister filter. You got a heck of a deal on that sucker, so hopefully you have some $$ to spare on a real good filter that would knock the socks off any bags.

Your airflow will thank you. Your lungs will thank you. The cleanup/emptying is much easier (IMHO) than bags, too.

Just my inflated $.02 :)

Grizzly has some decent bags for $25 each.

I'm going to second the Wynn filter. It is not the cheapest way to go but it definitely does good for the dc in its airflow capability and it only gets better as you use it.

I'll check into the wynn filter, I have not seen the collector yet my friend dropped it at my house, he says it has a top on it so maybe it already has a cannister. Thanks for the information

It ain't real cheap, but I'm liking it so far. I've run about 2 bags of dust & chips thru it to date. The neat thing about it is after cleaning a few times by whacking it or blowing compressed air thru it, You can turn a garden hose on it. Probably not a good idea with the paper filters. The filter material seems quite rigid and it seems to pass a lot of air and not much dust. I'm happy with it. Wynn also sells pretty good clear plastic bags. I got 3 with the filter kit. I had previously put a contractor's bag inside a fabric lower bag. That worked but wasn't all that easy to empty. The Wynn bags seem to stretch a little so aren't too bad to get around the DC separator part, just some duct tape to hold one side while you work with the other.

One thing that helps with cartridge filters is to not let the lower bag get too full. The less room in the lower bag for stuff to fall out of the air stream, the more that is going to find its way up into the filter. I suspect this is true of either the cartridge or bag filter. I Toss the bag when it's about half full. Others dump the DC bag into another contractors or large trash bag and reuse the clear bag. I'm sure this works but unless I'm going thru a lot of bags, it's not worth the hassle to me.
