Can anyone suggest a 2-part epoxy glue available in North America that has a gel consistency without the need to add fillers? In Australia, there is an excellent epoxy glue with a peanut-butter consistency called Techniglue, which I believe is manufactured by a subsidiary of West Systems. Is there a similar product available in the US?

T-88 by System Three. The Thixotopic(sp) agent has already been added.
It mixes to a creamy white consistency and dries clear. Pot time and working time are short in higher temps. Cure time is the same.

West epoxy products are made here in the US. If you called them they could probably provide you with the American equivalent to "Technique". It may be under another name due to patent rights or something.

There is also a product called Rod Bond that is used to attach the handles and reel seats of fishing rods. It is easy to use and not fussy with the mixing ratios. Looks a little like vaseline when mixed and does not run all over the place. I have not used it for wood but see no reason not to use it albeit a little pricey
