First cup, first pitcher. Yard wood practice. Don't know what the wood is. Don't care, it was fun trying. Thanks for the inspiration folks.

Really like both! That pitcher is some amazing wood and it has a rather rustic look to it that I really like. Great job!!!

Absolutely love the pitcher. The cup is really nice, but the form and the wood on the pitcher steals the show. Nice job on all. Keep up with the work and the pics!!!

Yard wood? Heck, looks great, very nice color, figuring and like the insect holes. Gives it a unique look. Good job!

From the coloring, the wood looks very much like some Scotch Pine turnings that I saw last night at our club meeting.

Great turnings, nice form. The pithcer could double as a weed pot/vase if it chose a new vocation in life.

The finish is just friction polish and a coat of spray lacquer. Thanks for the comments. Have a great day.

Chris, practice huh? A little understated don't ya think? They have great looking form and the wood has character. I'd say it should find a prominate place on the display shelf.:)
