Please post pictures or email them to me. We are in the planning stages of redesigning our kitchen and are considering Maple.

I have some photos in my blog (http://community.irritatedvowel.com/blogs/pete_browns_blog/default.aspx), but since there are no doors, they may not be of much help. In addition, I used soft maple which has a redder tone than hard maple (I prefer the look of soft maple).

What exactly are you looking for? Maybe we can dig up stuff for you

Check this thread for my kitchen.

Shaker style doors, reversed raised panel with a light oil stain. I would use dye if I did another maple project.

Hit the local kitchen design center and pick up some books. I get lots of ideas from them.

Show me Maple cabs? Kind of a broad question and answer! Maple can be just about anything you want. Kind of a blank canvas for stain. Here's a couple of example of two recent jobs. The first is natural(clear) maple with a van dyke glaze mixed with a black distressed island and hood. The black distressed is maple as well(paint grade). The last two pics are a different job finished with one of our custom dye stains (kind of red/brown color) also with the van dyke glaze. Sorry about the quality, they're from a cell phone. As I said before though maple is just about whatever you want. It is a versitle hardwood and is about 75-85% of our cabinetry.
