I know you see a tree like that and start thinking of the bowls, platters and hollowforms but even for a turner that seems a little excessive to get some wood.

I'm guessing that is a real incident because I see one of the trunks partially through the wing. I hope the people involved weren't hurt too badly.

Hard as I look at it, I can't find any burl. Why would he pick THAT tree?:rolleyes:
