Is there a cordless or electric stapler for installing wire?
My grandpa is an electrician and would like this type of stapler.

Thanks,
Stephen

There are staplers made to shoot a staples for round cable, specifically as in for running coax. Instead of a flat staple, the staples have a "bump" for the cable. Powerfast is one brand, I picked one up at the big orange box.

If your grampa is looking for a stapler for NM cable (aka "Romex"), I've never seen one and would recommend against using one. It's really important with NM to NOT overdrive the staple. You don't want to crimp the conductors inside the cable and a stapler could do that if you happen to hit a soft spot in the wood.

It's not like the "old days" where everything was run in BX and those metal staples could be driven pretty snug against the metal jacket of the cable. With NM, you should be able to pull the cable through the staple with a little bit of pressure. The point of the staple is to support the cable, not clamp it super tight against the wood.

Arrow makes a manual stapler for coax/phone/data cables.
Modal T-24 and or T-28 come to mind based on size of cable.
Had a couple of then for 20 years.
May be some newer stuff out there.
