or, that's what I call it, anyway - looks kind of like a map to somewhere (the Abyss?). Lychee, Spalted hackberry, and Walnut. 5 1/2" tall, 3 1/2" wide. Just friction polish (for now). Maybe some of you I refer to as "Super-Creekers" can give me some pointers?
Thanks!

The only Pointer I can give (if I can be considered a "SUPER" creeker) is more of a directive.

Keep up the impressive work! It is lovely!

Very nice. I thought of a globe as soon as I saw it. Great piece of wood.

I'm not a super-creeker but...That's great work, and a good name to go with it! The fit on the lid is impressive, and I like the steps in the base. The finsh is nice, and the whole piece just works.

That is just so cool! Definitely belongs on my desk.;) I like everything about it. As a Super-Creeker Wannabe, my only suggestion would be to intensify your sanding procedures to get rid of those last pesky remnants of end grain fuzz. You'll be glad. I know it gives me fits.

Well, I'm just an old newby, but.. why haven't any of you "old" guys recognized that this is truly a "Treasure Map".
Now who's going to start digging first.:D
